Bring a Smile to a Loved One Today!
I sent out our very first “photo” Christmas Card when we had our first child. He was seven months old at the time, and of course the proud parents wanted to share our cute bundle with all of our family and friends. What I didn’t anticipate, though, was how much impact this would have on our loved ones – how receiving the photo of our son (and then other children as the years passed) put a smile on their faces, and was something they looked forward to each year. As we received Christmas cards in return, it honestly filled my heart with happiness as we watched friends and relatives’ kids grow over the years!
There’s such a magic around Christmastime. It’s a time when people are generally happier, more thoughtful and kind – and when we think about loved ones and those we haven’t seen in some time. It’s a time full of special moments, and sharing that joy and laughter with loved ones through Christmas photos is truly a gift that others look forward to each year.
Now, I know what you’re thinking – I don’t have time for Christmas photos! How can I fit that into my already busy schedule? It’s just one more thing I have to do during this busy season! And who even sends Christmas cards anymore, anyway?
I hear you, and I’ve thought the same things! But let me tell you why this is so important, regardless of how old your kids are!
Christmas cards can be sent traditionally in the mail, or handed to a loved one, or even sent digitally – maybe you’re just sharing your Christmas photo on social media. But it is so worth getting Christmas photos done and sharing them with family and friends. Whoever you send your card or photo to will be so happy you thought of them, and love to see how much your children have grown since last Christmas! And it’s also a beautiful keepsake for your family as well to document the changes in your lives over the year!
Getting your Christmas photos done doesn’t have to be complicated, and doesn’t mean standing outside in the freezing cold while you try to get everyone to smile through chattering teeth. I offer a variety of beautiful and realistic backdrops that will provide a perfect setting for your Christmas Portraits – and all inside where you can stay dry and warm! Christmas photos don’t need to take long either – 10-20 minutes is all you need to capture some beautiful images to send out to your loved ones!
Finally, reduce your stress by letting me design a custom Christmas card for your family – one less thing for you to have to worry about during the holidays! The beautiful cards we design together with the beautiful Christmas photos of your family will definitely bring a smile to all loved ones you share it with!
